TEAM DESCRIPTION:

Because we are living longer and our population is aging the prevalence of Alzheimer’s and Dementia is increasing.   I have an opportunity to dedicate 18 months of my life to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK.  I am funding this expensive adventure myself so 100% of all donations will go direct  to this truly worthwhile charity. Last year I had a knee replacement and 10 years ago  prostate cancer however  I believe that with my positive adventurous attitude,  my strength  and  my vast sailing experience I can at the age of 70   be the oldest  person to row the Atlantic and do it single handed.  I have sailed this route 3 times at this time of year in my own yacht. Got the boat and I love it!
