Quite an amazing day on the John Magnus yesterday. It always amazes me how I can throw a group of novices in this boat and after 10 minutes of instruction be rowing on the creek. Fifteen minutes later and they are rowing with a sweet cadence in this forgiving, balanced boat. A mile and a half to the light house (note the beautiful Solaris in the background) and even the waves bucking the hull does not faze the rowers comforted by the stable two hundred plus year design of this workhorse of a boat. Row the Magnus! You don’t know what you are missing
