This talk by Dr Simon Wenham, author of a new book written to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Hobbs of Henley, explores the history of the firm, one of the best-known boating businesses on the Thames.
Hear how a 17th century family from Hambleden became not only notable pillars of the establishment in Henley and integral to the fabric of the regatta town, but also established a market-leading hospitality company. The talk will include a Q & A with Managing Director Jonathan Hobbs.
