Windy to start but then…

Very windy start to the lighthouse to watch the sunrise (always in memory of my sister Lyda Maria). Then on the way back I see a very cute visitor from the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum (says C.L. Churchill, Burlington, Vermont). Then noticed the Corning Glass barge is at the Hudson River Maritime Museum (which I hope to visit later this weekend). Then back on the Creek it rains and I notice how beautiful raindrops can be—no wonder there are songs about raindrops. But finally meet the man who rigged a small solar powered boat that runs on sunlight plus a battery. Says he was diagnosed with cancer two years ago and has done nothing but treat himself with natural remedies and loves to navigate these parts like I do—sustainably. Go Michael!
