Learn to Row (scull)

Private Learn to Row instruction and  rowing tours  are $75 per hour, then $50 per hour after first, second, third, fourth and fifth hour of instruction.  It takes about 5 hours of practice to feel confident in both rowing and understanding of Creek navigation rules, etc.  The first hour is often spent on land so a minimum of 2 hours is really needed to start.

To row you should be 18 years of age or older and in good health, and have completed swim test or have proof of swimming ability.  You will be required to sign a waiver to theRondoutRower.com.

NOTE:   Back pain and/or inability to bend knees are not conducive to safe rowing.  If you have such issues you should clear them with your health care provider prior to rowing.
