Which I have picked up on the sands of Kingsto Point Beach, I wonder where each piece came from. And how long it rode on the Hudson River before drifting ashore on a high tide. How long it sat in the sun to dry as it ditched it’s bark. Each piece has a story to tell. If only it could speak.
