Solo Row

An extreme low tide at 6am this morning. Humidity low, temperature about 67 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunrise has a very beautiful rarified color that is very pleasing. I notice it as I row into the creek on the north side of Island Dock. The rusty bridge seems to have been painted by the sun so very beautifully. I have to share a few photos. I especially like to laugh at the funny way selfies appear backwards. It was too windy on the Hudson so I turn around at the lighthouse and go back on the creek to Feeney’s and back. All in all it was another peaceful sunrise row. One thing though. All instruments I had that use GPS were not working. This is the second time this has happened this week. Not sure if recent storms have caused outages. But as long as I can make a phone call I will go out on the Hudson.
