Wonderful row with my friend Marianne Marichal​ from Newburgh Rowing Club​. We tried and aborted before but made it this time. Wonderful day where we crossed paths with an Orange County Rowing Association crew doing practice on the Hudson. Ended up being much longer than I expected because I followed the coastline instead of going straight across from Plum Point where we launched. Oh well! Chalk it up to experience!
