Row to the Hutton Brickyards and back

I love going north after the lighthouse up as far as the Hutton Brickyards. It is a 5 mile row to and from the city docks which is what I like to do in a morning. I got closer to the “glamper” tents and I believe no one is glamping now because no one was stirring….NOT A SOUL! But when they do it is a fabulous spot to enjoy a sunrise over the Hudson and the Rhinecliff Bridge further nort

Fourth of July Row! 11 plus miles!

We rowed from the Wurtz Street Bridge to the Rhinecliff Bridge. We stayed west of the navigation channel and got to stop twice on the brick strewn beaches along the way. Well worth the almost 4 hour endeavor (because of breaks and long chats along the way). Great way to spend the very early hours of a day expected to be VERY HOT! Unfortunately I set my eCrumbs software to stop after 3 hours and it only read 8.23 miles. But I calculate that it was approximately 11 plus miles. Quite the journey!
